hello!

Pune, India
I am an industrial designer + design researcher who aims to create meaningful, interactive and emotive product experiences at the intersection of design & science.

I believe in a transdisciplinary approach - adapting my process based on the needs of each project. I have worked on several types of projects, including furniture, textile, graphic, and space design, always striving to tailor my methods to the unique problem space at hand.

I’m interested in using Design to bring about Comfort & Ease with an inclination towards Healthcare. I find value in making complex processes easy to understand:)

I also really enjoy collaborating with people!
I've perviously worked on projects that involve co-creation workshops, making resources more accessible and integration of technology.

Experience

Industrial Designer
@  INDQ Product Design Studio

Jan-Jul’25: Graduation Project + Internship
Exploring the intersection of research, design, and technology while working on healthcare products. Conducting in-depth research by consulting specialists, analyzing research papers, and defining sensor specifications for ergonomics and usability. Conceptualized ideas from incremental to radical, refining form transitions and interface flows. Building thermocol prototypes to validate concepts and collaborated across disciplines to bring ideas to life. Designing intuitive digital experiences by structuring information, mapping interactions, and creating layouts in Figma. Strengthening communication and documentation skills to ensure clarity and precision throughout the process.

Wearable Solutions
@ Flexible Electronics Lab, IAP, IISc

May-Jun’24: Summer Internship

Worked on transforming lab technology into a wearable prototype for animal testing. Defined timeline of design process & chose  collaborated closely with a PHD & M.Tech student from IAP Dept. to bring the concept to life. Within 8 weeks, I successfully designed a wearable prototype for a monkey, overcoming the challenge of integrating copper wire with fabric.

Design Sprint Winner
@ YDC, World Design Organisation

Oct’24

Won the ‘Heritage in Motion’ Design Sprint organised by WDO. My team consisted of 3 other international students, where we conceptualised how the Esparto Grass weaving craft can be used to solve desertification in Spain using Systems Thinking. The solution inculcated SDGs 9, 11 & 12.
