Outcomes

Become a Goalsmith - Gigamap

This gigamap is a metaphorical landscape through which one travel to understand how authentic goals are formed and why they are important. We have used the metaphor of mining gold and diamonds, and the process of casting and setting, to represent the journey of discovering values and desires, and setting authentic goals. Each stage in the journey reveals a different layer of the self, uncovering desires, understanding values, confronting challenges, and ultimately forging the tools needed to reach and reflect upon our goals. It explains our framework with a narrative.

Retrospect: Provocative Installation

Restrospect is a provocative installation that invites you to reflect on the core values that shape your design process and the impact they hold. The installation has 4 tapestries, each explores a disctinct philosiphy - from Life-Centered and Inclusive Design to Human-Centered and Speculative Design—emphasizing various necessary values represented by the shuttles. This invites you ro retrospect and think: “What values are most esssential to weave your design journey?”

Co-creating a Value-based Curriculum:
Empowering Children with Values and Goals

We conducted a participatory design workshop at NID Ahmedabad with all the stakeholders involved in shaping a child's life (parents, teachers, psychologists, curriculum designers, etc), in order to co create strategies for value based learning. The age group catered to is 9-12 yr old chldren. The entire Workshop is developed into a toolkit that will help start conversations about holistic Value Education.

Valuable Futures

Designed for parents and teachers, this guidebook offers practical tools to support children in discovering their unique values and setting goals that reflect their authentic selves, empowering them to shape meaningful futures. The content draws from insights gained during our workshop, Co-Creating a Value-Based Curriculum for Children through Participatory Design.

The Value Paradox Game

The Values Paradox is a game designed to test, debate, and reflect on core personal values. Through various social scenarios, players select values, discuss, and evaluate each other’s choices, gaining insights into what motivates them. The game has some elements of trading, judging tokens and at the end, a chance to reflect on the choices made and their relation to self/ gain during the game.
